The Winchester Rifle
The Winchester rifle was the first gun that could have more than one bulled fired before reloading. The bullets use percussion caps, which are tiny caps attached to the end of a bullet, when the trigger is pulled a hammer comes down and strikes the cap. this ignites the gunpowder in the cap sending the bullet flying out. Oliver Winchester invented the rifle in 1854. The Winchester rifle paved the west, but would have never come into being without the musket.
The Automatic Rifle
The automatic rifle is a rapid firing killing machine. It is made to decimate the enemy and to kill. It is magazine fed and the magazines hod 30-40 bullets each. They are standard issue in the armed forces and are also used by mercenaries.
The Sniper Rifle
The sniper rifle is a rifle made for long range assassinations and to kill from afar, it uses high caliber rounds and has a rifled barrel. some sniper rifles are magazine fed, others are not.
The Shotgun
The shotgun is a magazine fed gun that shoots pellets instead of a bullet. It is used for hunting and close quarters combat.
